Herpes outbreak in my throat. Really bad sores all over my throat, every time I swallowed it felt like swallowing broken glass. Doesn't help that I don't have insurance so I took longer than I should have to go to the doctor and figure out what it was and get on antibiotics. I could barely even eat anything for like 4 days.

Some runners-up:
Kidney stone. Passing it didn't really hurt, but making it's way into the bladder felt like really bad back pain that would not go away whatsoever. Actually went to the ER for that one.

One of my wisdom teeth got infected and I had to wait until the next day to go to the dentist. Awful pain, could barely sleep at all. All good after it was pulled, though. Recovery wasn't any issue and I didn't even have to use any of the really good drugs they prescribed.

Edit: I also forgot, one of my nipples is tattooed. That was awful, but I didn't really think of it since it was by choice.

Damn, you get that from a dude or a chick? I'll make sure to think twice when I go down.

After getting nasal surgery during recovery I sneezed so hard it opened up all the internal wounds and I had to go to the ER and was an inpatient for a few days with a morphine IV.

That shit was overrated it did fuck all for my pain and I didn't get high either.

Yeah, when I took Fentanyl in the hospital and Oxycontin for pain at home they didnt do squat <_<

I contracted a rare stomach virus that put every single inch of my body in the most agonizing pain of my entire life. Lasted 3 full days before I went to my doctor.

I also had sciatica that progressively got worse over a 6 month period. Felt like I had a live electrical wire sending gravel from my low back down my leg, no pain relief worked in the slightest. I could hardly walk, sitting made it hurt even worse, I couldn't even stand without being in crippling pain and would often resort to taking a knee while riding the bus from place to place. After 4 months of physical therapy I got about 95% better, but it still flares up on a regular basis. Not nearly as bad as before though, I just have to keep my back stretched out and stay active, sitting around too much causes it to come back.

Sneezing/coughing with broken ribs is also no fun.

Infected tooth that I let go too long. Never had pain so bad that it would wake me up minutes after I fall asleep. I didn't really sleep in days, and fell asleep during the root canal since it was numbed

Broken big toe. Ive broken a bunch of bones and that was the worst. I also almost pissed my pants from a Vitamin B12 shot once, but that was nothing compared to the toe.

It would have been a chick, though I'm not sure exactly who or when. I do have my suspicions, though, in which case it would have just been through kissing. Emotional? Or Physical? Or Both? My current situation is the worst pain that Ive ever felt. I lost my job of five years, I am broke broke for the first time in YEARS. I dont know where my next meal is coming from, I am about to be homeless. I lost my car to an accident where I was flipped.(Thank god, no real injuries.) I dont know how Im continuing to live

Upper leg muscle cramps

Same with me. Sometimes I get these so brutally that I feel like a gunshot would be less painful. I've found that the quinine in tonic water is pretty effective at combating this condition and I often mix a can of it with orange juice to have before I go to bed when I am most likely to get hit with a leg cramp.

I also once went through a plate glass window and cut my leg open to the bone. The doctor stopped counting the stitches when he got to two hundred and still had quite a bit left to do. The initial injury was painless because I literally cut all the nerves in my leg, but the healing process of muscle and nerves knitting back together was agonizing.

My first sex headache. I was jerking off when I was like 19, had rising tension in my head when I was approaching orgasm, and then when I hit orgasm it felt like someone simultaneously lit my brain on fire and stabbed a knife through my eye socket. The intense pain lasted only like 3 seconds, and I fell to the floor.

It's between the Kidney stone and the gall stones for me. Gall stones were probably worse because the worst parts of the pain lasted longer.

Inadvertently got pepper spray in my eye. I had a can of spray in my house and my cousin sprayed a bit in his hand (idiot). I told him to wash his hands in the bathroom and try not to touch anything. I turned on the faucet for him and had him wash for a good while. Didn't think much about it after that.

Now that day, for the only time in my life that I can recall, I left my contract case on my bathroom counter with one of the lens caps off. I'm guessing some spray residue dripped off my cousin's hand and fell into the open case.

So, the next morning I put my right contact in and instantly felt like my eye imploded. I dropped on my knees and, after panicking for a bit, I stuck my head under the tub faucet and ran cold water on my face. I couldn't get my eye open, my muscles wouldn't allow it. After flushing my eye for a while I got my eyelid to open and was relieved to find that my eye was still there lol. The pain was bad, but what I think made it worse was the shock of it happening right off the bat in the morning, like I had no idea what was going on in that moment. Just an awful way to start the day.

Appendicitis and then later the cancerous lymph node that was pressing on my interstine.

-Frozen Turkey crushed fingertip
-Spilled boiling water on ankle
-Waking up one morning while I was going through lower back pain
-Stomache aches, etc

Worst that lasted days:
-Aforementioned back pain
-Shoulder pain last year

Double ingrown toenail on my big toe. Picture a nice saucy cheesy pizza, on both sides of the toe.
The pain from getting my toenail removed was a relief to the pain I was suffering in working on my feet all day.

Either getting shot in my arm during high school or stabbed in my upper front thigh in elementary school.

Shattered my third lumbar vertebra after falling 15 feet out of a tree in 2007, at the age of 19. Landed in such a way that the force of the impact concentrated right on L3; crushed it and shattered it, in what's technically called a comminuted fracture.

That wasn't the worst part, though. That distinction goes to the few moments in the hospital when I was laying on the table to get my x-ray. I was wearing shorts and they needed to come off, so they had to arch my back up enough to slide the shorts down. The fall was bad, but the x-ray incident was just... I couldn't even gasp. I just stared off into space, amazed that the human body could endure such pain without passing out.

I've always had a high pain tolerance so that injury raised the bar even higher for me. Charley horses, sprains, nothing really bothers me too much anymore.

Things I have not experienced that sound painful, based on what I've heard:

• Kidney stones
• Cluster headaches
• Childbirth (can never experience this though, as I am male)

Migraines that also cause me to vomit

When i tore meniscus it felt like someone shot me in the knee. That was the worst pain i have ever felt. The 2nd which is right up there with the tear was a root canal i got done. The whole procedure took like 2 weeks and i wanted to kick the doctors ass so bad cuz none of the pain meds were working. It was like a constant 7 level pain around my mouth, it was fucking awful.

Isnt that just sad? And said woman probably would have friendzoned more than half. Ended up getting good news, hopefully in a few days my taxes will finally be dropped and Ill be able to either find a place or get caught up.

A thrombosed hemorrhoid

It's essentially a blood clot that forms in an otherwise normal hemorrhoid. It usually swells to the size of a grape.

In terms of pain it can range from anywhere from dull to sharp, but it's incredibly CONSTANT. No matter what position you get in there's never any relief.

No idea why I get them. I don't strain or sit around on hard surfaces all that much.

Once every few years I'll get one and it knocks me outta commission for a week

Ive woken up to an eye ulcer from my leave in contacts a few times. Eyes are pretty bad. Even scratched my cornea from the game buffing compound at Game Crazy. The buffer lid broke and we were still forced to use it. I missed ONE day of work for it and walked 2 miles to and from work to be able to continue to do so

Nerve damage from a motorcycle accident. For about a month, every 5 minutes or so I would get a 30 second feeling of someone holding a blowtorch to my leg. Luckily it went away and I lost all feeling on a portion of my leg, but I was almost suicidal from the pain when the doctor said it may be permanent.

The head pounding, the constant nerve spikes and the irritated jaw all at once. You will not be able to do ANYTHING at all. I dislocated my ankle once but I'll take that pain over the toothache anyday.

Mine are crooked, still have them at 34. My dentist said if they aren't hurting me, or causing issues, then to just leave them there. Still have all four.

I wish there was more people out there like you, Im at the end of my rope. Not one of my relatives except my brother who is struggling himself helped me out and a lot of them I helped pay tickets and bills. Talk about pain.. getting stabbed in the back like that.

The tooth ache I had recently. A filling cracked and it gave me constant pain, migraines, and ear aches

Hard to say. I've broken my wrist multiple times. Had my ribs broke in a fight. Had teeth broke off at the gum line in a fight. Been pepper sprayed (got to in training at my job) and several other similar things

Use to suffer from extreme constipation about once a year and id hurt so bad I could barely walk. I think that's probably it. I got high pain tolerance until it involves abdominal pain

Broken ankle/4 wisdom teeth pulled/flu

Something that happened twice where I woke up and if I moved my neck an inch in a wrong direction would feel pain so intense that I thought I would pass out. So my head was stuck in one position to the side for a few hours until I could see a doctor, who gave me a muscle relaxer. It took me a literal 30 minutes to get out of bed the first time it happened. Second time was less intense
