Idk. I have like 5 pairs of joycons. Most are fine. Maybe the first (and possibly the second) have drift. But the rest have been fine recently

I beat Skyward Sword on Wii U around 2015 or so, so I'll probably wait a bit until I buy a used copy for $50-$60 instead of $80 plus taxes. I really enjoyed the game even though I felt the ending dragged on. Really fun, and it seems like the reviewers are enjoying the improvements.

this, Nintendo needs to update their online store as well. I have doubts the switch store will cross generations like the ps4-ps5 and the xboxs.

I paid $70 when the original version came out and I got a controller and a soundtrack CD (even the normal $50 version came with the CD). $60 for just the game is a ripoff. And since it's Nintendo, it won't be a reasonable price until the Switch is dead in 4 or 5 years and they do a Nintendo Selects reprint.

It's a 10 year old game. Games that old aren't supposed to cost this much. And the original version cost less and you got more. The special edition cost a little more and you got a controller. Now they're selling the controller separately for full price. This should be no more than $40. Wind Waker HD (and I think Twilight Princess HD, but I can't find proof of that one) cost $50 on a console where games mostly cost $60 and they put in more effort. The Crash and Spyro trilogy remakes both cost $40 and they had WAY more effort put into them than this.

I just want a true HD OoT remake (not just texture scaling or whatever you call it). I don't care if it's $60 and only takes me eight hours to beat, I've wanted this for like 13 years so I'm not gonna stop

To others who havent played it, its like a new game And just because the old one was cheaper means nothing. It was also a different system. Probably with a different pricing system, as well. And technically, this one is HD, so theres that. And IIRC, Wiimotes werent as expensive as Joycons. Plus, the special Wiimote/game combo came out a good while after the game came out, too. The Joycons came out the same day And I dont remember WWHD or TPHD being only $50, tbh That said, I also got the TPHD game with the Wolf Link (which is the only reason I got it), so it probably cost more And who cares if the Spyro and Crash trilogy were cheaper? That has no bearing on the SS price

I wish Nintendo would get with the program a little more on pricing and discount sales, but people who are like "well this and that cost this much, and the other one cost this much, blah blah how dare they price it this way" are so annoying. Just buy a game if you think it's worth it to you and don't buy it if you don't. It doesn't need to be analyzed in every little detail. Some games are a much better deal than others, it's always been like that. And it's not just games either, it's pretty much every consumer good.

Its not, though. I never said you have to be happy. Nor did I say anything about other companies release something better since objective. But its true that Nintendo can do what they want. Its their company and their products. If you dont want it, and dont want to pay that price, you dont have to. Not everyone feels games are worth what they cost. People feel that way about a lot of stuff, though. From food to clothes to pretty much everything.
