Anyone here sleep at the same or almost the same time everyday with 7+ hours of sleep and you noticed a positive change like better mood, look and feel less tired? I think I might do this cause I feel tired/sleepy all the time.

Left to my own devices, prefer to sleep around 9 to 10 hours with small periods of alertness mixed in.

I can function on less than that, but if I didn't work, I would always sleep around 9 to 10 hours to feel my best.

I sleep 6 straight hours on weekends to charge me up so to speak, weekdays I split my sleep in to two 4 hour blocks so I can maximize the amount of shit I do before/after work. Honestly I feel better on weekdays.

I always feel like crap when I wake up no matter what.

Doesn't matter how long I slept. Doesn't matter how comfortable I was. Doesn't matter what I was doing the night before. Doesn't matter if I eat or drink close to bedtime or not. Basically nothing makes any difference whatsoever. I'm miserable for like an hour every single morning.

Frankly, the only time I didn't feel like shit right after waking up was back in college when I would smoke weed just before bed. Not gonna lie, I miss it.

It's still illegal recreationally in my area (Ohio). It's changing, but not quite there yet. I probably could get a medical card for like insomnia or something. Probably wouldn't be all that hard to convince a doctor to prescribe it. And possession has already been decriminalized. But there's no dispensaries to purchase it around here anyway, so it wouldn't do me any good.

I can practically guarantee you, though, that the moment a dispensary opens up reasonably nearby where I live, I'll be scheduling a doctor's appointment...

This is me ever since I went on a month vacation with my dad for April to Nigeria. These summer months back in the states have not been treating me well for my sleep patterns. I was actually happier back when I was waking up at 4 in the morning walking around the house. Now I sleep either 12 to 8 am or 12 to 10 am on off days. Oh, also Ive been on a 750 daily calorie regimen for about 11 months now (maybe 2 months longer) so that might have something to do with it.

I have insomnia, so I can't sleep more than a few hours at a time... I wouldn't know from experience, but I imagine it would definitely be a positive thing.
