That special treatment is well-known prior to enlisting. Thats like saying they dont deserve to use their GI bill for signing on either, since thats special treatment. 10k signing bonus? Special treatment.

I mean, the government can destroy you in ways a gun won't help with. Guns theoretically are to protect you against other people nowadays. If the government wants to destroy, they can just do it financially and be done with you.

They're a tool of the state. Most people join for the benefits not some sense of moral duty. If they're given an order, they will most likely follow it. If they don't, they will be in trouble.

No. No one who isn't an entitled ass expects every business to offer a military discount. Private businesses are under no obligation to provide special treatment to military. You could have avoided this embarrassing outburst if you had read the post I was replying to. It's quoted in the post, so idk how you missed it.
