I don't speak for everyone, but in my case it's because she's a new addition to the roster so naturally I'd like to see more of her, she's a dragon girl which automatically makes her cool, and I really like her socially oblivious and literal minded personality. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up getting shipped with Lye or even Terry tbh.

BD) Smore and Lye

As time passes, the silhouette of a large floating island can be seen hiding in the clouds far ahead.

But after a bit more flying, the skies start getting darker and cloudier. Eventually, sparks line through the clouds, alongside the rumbling sound of thunder. The silhouette gets obscured by the darkness.

You squint. This probably isnt good.

Gundilf holds on for his dear life. Really brother, what makes ya say that?!

Another sound besides thunder surprises you; the stirring of your two students.

Terry rubs his eyes. ...Merlin? Where are we? What happened to that Earth Queen lady? he says, still slightly groggy.

Lye coughs a bit as she regains her senses. Oh gods...I feel like ass right now dude. As her vision gets clearer, her eyes widen to the sight of Smores wings. Holy shit! Are those real wings?!

You pat both of their backs. Now now, its probably rude to ask Dragons about that. Right Smore?

Lyes eyes sparkle, while Terry jolts to full awakeness. Dragon?! they both say in unison, with opposite tones.

I do not mind, Sir Merlin. The inquisitive one just now was Miss Lye, yes? And the sleepy one was Sir Terry?

Lye waves at her. Hi! Thats me Ms. Dragon Lady Smore!

Terry adjusts his glasses. Yeah, Im Terry. A...arent you supposed to be extinct?

Smore raises an eyebrow. I believe that one is a rude statement. Is that right Sir Merlin? Am I supposed to be offended by that?

Oh for f...Smore. I cant decide your feelings. But yeah Terry, kinda a dick move there.

Yeah, jeez lad! Talk about insensitive! says Gundilf.

Lye glares at Terry. Yeah, what the hell dude! How would YOU like to be extinct?!

He covers his face. Im sorry?! It was just a question!

Smore smirks quietly. After some consideration, I do not mind it as much as I thought. Your companions are much less scary than you are, Sir Merlin.

Ill take that as a compliment, you say as you glare at the clouds. Smore. Think you can put up a barrier?

Sorry Sir Merlin, Im not skilled enough to utilize both Chi and Mana at the same time.

Hm. Shit. Alright. You two, wanna try making a magic barrier?

Lye raises her hand. Oh oh! Let me! She puts out her hands and closes her eyes, attempting to focus the mana on--

She coughs up. Eh? She tries to cast a spell again, but ends up coughing once more.

Terry adjusts his glasses. Um...maybe you should rest for now, Lye. Ill give it a try. He closes his eyes and tries to concentrate on the mana around him.

Space warps a bit in front of him.

Smore looks back. Sir Terry, please exercise caution, that mana is unstable and might attract--

Lightning strikes the warped space, creating a great explosion. Sparks fly out, in particular jumping to Smores wings.

Everyone gets sent flying away. Before you all separate too much, you look to your immediate sides to see Lye and Smore. You grab them out of instinct and hold them close, keeping your back facing the ground and concentrating Chi on it.

Gundilf also had the same idea and grabs Terry.



You come to your senses and see Lye and Smore in front of you.

Sir Merlin, that was quite the fall. Are you in good condition?

You grunt while getting up. Fuck...no. My back hurts like hell, and thats the first time youll be hearing that from me as an old man. At least nothings broken, I think.

Lye looks at you worryingly. Please dont die, Mr. Merlin.

You chuckle. Oh trust me Lye, thats gonna be very difficult. You dust yourself off. Smore, can you fly and find the others?

My apologies Sir Merlin, my wings are currently recovering from that strike. Well be grounded for a while.

You take a look around you, only to see absolute darkness above you, and trees stretching up by yards everywhere else. Hm. Well. Not the best place to be grounded in.

An ear-scratching growl sounds off in the distance.

Lye immediately hides behind you. Mr. Merlin, whats up with this place?! Its creepy as hell!

Smore spreads out her arms. To me, its extremely dense with mana. Its quite soothing like this.

Bird-like creatures rustle from the trees and fly overhead, cawing loudly much to Lyes chagrin.

You pat Lye on her head. I gotta say, this place wasnt here a millennium ago. Though, if I had to guess why its so damn dark, its probably the giant fucking island floating above us.

The same growl roars again, slightly closer.

Smore, any idea what that is?

Sorry Sir Merlin, the mana is too dense here. Its all visual noise to me. However, if I were to make an educated guess, it might be a large creature.

You sigh. Glad we have a detective.

The trees rustle again.

Suddenly, a metal spear shoots out, aimed right at you.

You side-step it at the last second, letting it lodge into the trees behind you.

You stare at where it came from.

A) Stand your ground against this assailant. (AKA, Cast Fist)
B) No time for being hunted. Run to find the others.
C) Run towards where you heard the large creature. You might be able to use it to your advantage and deal with two potential threats.

A) Cast Fist

As you stare, you feel a hint of unease. All of you, duck! you say as you crouch and bring Lye down with you.

Without a second thought, Smore follows suit.

The metal spear glows, then flies above you and back to the assailant, who emerges from the trees.

He wears silver robes, but without any sleeves, which shows off his well-toned arms. On his wrists are bracelets that have magical markings on them.

He twirls the spear and looks at you with a smug face. Well look what the sky brought in. Didnt think Id find a wanted criminal here on my morning walk. Saved me a lotta trouble there. He points the spear at you. Wanna save me more trouble and turn yourself in?

You stand up straight. Criminal or not, its rude to throw spears at people, you know. Who the hell is this asshole, anyway?

Lye looks at him with panic. Mr. Merlin, th-thats the Grand Wizard of Wind, King Airagorn!

You stroke your beard. Oh? Not sure why youre hanging out in a hellhole like this, but that saves ME some trouble! You start to reach for your pocket for the ring. I was told you could help us--

Whatever youre scheming, dont try it, he declares. Clearly ydont wanna make this easy on me so, Im just gonna make this quick.

Wind gathers from below, making his robes flutter and revealing another set of magical markings on his boots. They glow, then a huge burst of wind shoots out behind him, jetting himself towards you with his spear in front.

Before you could react, Smore dashes in front of you to intercept him with a kick.

He firmly grasps the spear, making the markings on it glow. It shoots wind forward to bend his body back like he was doing limbo. The wind also staggers her slightly, letting him sweep her leg and trip her.

Her instinct is to use her wings to bounce back up, but she twinges from her injuries instead.

The King raises his spear overhead and brings it down for a stab--

You step in with a fist to his face, flinging him right towards a tree.

He responds quickly by launching his spear to the tree at a downwards slant to use it as a spring. His palms push against the shaft which bends it, then the markings on his bracelets glow. Gusts shoot out of them, and combined with the spear spring, he launches forward to the air.

The spear glows and returns to his hand again. Whoa! The hell was that? You two used something that wasnt magic just now. I'll be feeling that one for weeks!

Grab Smore and get to safety for now, you whisper to Lye.

She nods and drags Smore away.

You glare at the King. I could ask you the same. You dont fight like any of the Wizards Ive seen so far.

He lands, then shrugs. Yeah well, when youre the youngest Grand Wizard with the least magic power compared to all the other Grand Wizards, ygotta be creative. He twirls his spear around. Lucky for me, most Wizards dont know how to respond to melee combat.

Yeah well, youre fucked now. You crack your knuckles. Im not most Wizards.

You zoom towards him with an explosive force of Chi on your legs. Im the mostest goddamn Wizard, you say with a punch aimed for him.

He angles his boots and blasts air, sidestepping swiftly. He aims his wrist behind him and blasts air again, shunting himself forward into a spinning strike to your back.

You actually feel pain as you stagger, but quickly turn around and throw another punch.

He throws his spear into the air and deflects your arm to the side with his own bare hands. Powered by a blast of wind, he throws a punch to your face, staggering you back once more.

You snarl at him and throw another punch, but he reacts too quickly once again and punches you back.

He catches his spear, then uses his boots to blast forward and jab your solar plexus with the shaft of his spear.

The weight of his entire body being focused there was enough to have the wind knocked out of you.

He shrugs with a smug face. Cmon man, youre fighting like an animal here! Throwing such big punches like that is just asking to get countered!

You clear your throat and stand up straight. Your fists clench in anger.

A) Unleash your inner rage
B) Calm down, attempt to cast Suplex instead (aka, fight like a wrestler this time)
C) Tag in Smore and Lye instead
