I have 3. No....4.

1. FFX. I paid 20 for platinum edition like 20 years ago. Must have put in about 1500 hours. Naturally, I ruined this by buying the HD remaster on switch a year or two back for 50 like a fucking goober
2. The Witcher 3. Got this on sale for 12. One of the most epic games I've ever played, period.
3. Divinity Original Sin 2. Jesus christ, put 200 hours into this game already and I'm only 75% done. The first two acts were fucking hardcore but it's easy now.
4. Path of Exile. I mean, it's Diablo, but bigger and...free. I feel like I'm literally mugging the devs when I play this game.

Probably path of exile, it's free and i put a lot of hours in it.

Probably the Elder Scrolls or the Civilisation games. Hundreds upon hundreds into thousands at this point of hours into those games over the decades.

oh damn, Oblivion was my jam. I painstakingly installed the FCOM overhaul mod (which was literally about 4 hours of technical work to achieve) and it became maybe the best and most complete immersive RPG I've ever played.

Phantasy star online episode 1 and 2 on the gamecube and xbox.

On the gamecube version alone I had 10 characters across two different memory cards. Two level 200s, multiple characters in the 100s, and even the lowest level one was around level 80 by the time I stopped. Like 5,000 hours put into the game.....and I still wasn't bored of it by the time it shut down.

Fallout 4. 2,000 hours and counting. Followed by Skyrim at 1,771 hours. To be clear, I make extensive use of mods, as the base games are hella boring for the most part.

Morrowind. Probably paid 20 it and replayed it repeatedly back to back to back for like a year.

Diablo 3. Put multiple thousands of hours in, even picked up a second set of keys to dual-box for awhile. Even with the collectors edition purchase, its still pennies per hour.

Hollow Knight on sale for $4, retail $8, was basically 60 hours of me physically incapable of putting it down

I paid full price for mgsv and put 3000 hours into it. Paid a lot less for peace walker and probably but 2000 hours hard to say which one I had more fun with. Other than that any Bethesda rpg really.

Not counting free games, since there are no bucks involved, I'd have to say either Rimworld or Oxygen Not Included.

I play a fucking lot of Forza 7.

I've played all the Yakuza games via Game Pass, and those aren't lacking for content

My last play, I landed as a lone Sith and worked my way up until I had built an army of droids.

Toss up between Metroid Prime and Mass Effect.

I paid for $20 each.

Hollow Knight. That was a complete package of a Metroidvania at a reduced price.

All the SMT games, before Persona 5 was a thing. Before the weebs came along and turned it into a new place to find waifus, the games were easy to pick up online and cheap enough, so I had hundreds of hours of JRPGS to play through after Persona 3 introduced me to the series.

Now it's shitty and expensive to buy the old shit in the series.

One of the dev team actually reached out to me to see if I'd write a guide for the game.

I gently turned them down at the time. I think I was in the midst of a guide-writing binge that was burning me out, but also while I like HQ okay enough, I didn't really "connect" with it in the same way I connected with QfG. I can't really explain it.
