I don't know who he is. but i prefer comedians to not relentlessly make fun of society or current events anymore. it is boring, trite and not self-empowering. we don't need a reminder that x politician did x or said y because we live in the society already, we don't need to be reminded daily of their failings, just as much i don't really like tv shows with excessive social agenda built into them. it all just proves to be too much to take in.

It has its moments, but it's like all the weird live action shit from Adult Swim--it tries hard to be quirky and contrary to comedy conventions, but it ends up being so zany that it just feels aimless. Some of the jokes are good, some just plain aren't. It's a mixed bag, and sometimes it's comedy gold.

I don't think many of the on-the-street gags are very good, but the interview segments can be amazing. It all depends on the guest and their reactions, honestly.

I was surprised that any of the seemingly incoherent AS stuff actually has a metatextual meaning under it, like "Too Many Cooks" actually makes a lot of sense if you understand what they are going for.

have you guys watched The Trial of Tim Heidecker? Its I think kind of a spin-off of On Cinema? Its too trippy, like its insanely mundane but in the narrative hes on trial for like 20 murders from selling bootleg thc vapes and hes the only person not playing it 100% serious. Its buck wild, it makes me incredibly uncomfortable

Besides venture bros, moral oral is the best cartoon I have ever seen.

but it had an amazing start and finish, I wish I had more, but at least it had an incredible start to finish.

the venture bros on the other hand said okay this is our last season, here is the cliffhanger ending!

and then cancelled.
