15 is going to hurt small businesses so bad, especially with them already struggling thanks to Covid as is. They're either going to have to drastically increase all their prices, or just heavily cut everyone's hours either way you're hurting your business.

they can put the prices up, and it won't have to be as drastic as you make out. if all of a sudden people aren't struggling to pay rent, suddenly they can actually spend money at small businesses.

the main issue is tying it to inflation, but where I live in Atlanta $15 to $20 would be I think reasonable

Whatever is a living wage for the cheapest state in the country.

Then states/areas can increase as needed for their cost of living.

And tied to inflation of course.

Ideally their business model will be restructured where they can still survive without paying wages that require employees to scrape by.

So yeah, maybe hours will get cut, but also people will have more money to spend on their business, so...
