For some reason I expected it to drop off a cliff after Life of Brian but nope. 6-8 is dreadful but you hit Season 9 and this show gets a new life for at least another four seasons. Different from 1-3 season humor but it's a funny show with its own identity.

8-14 is funny, everything before and after that is mostly miss IMO

Ill never find funny a show that almost solely relies on pop culture references to be funny.

Show is stupidly hilarious

Almost every episode with have a couple moments I laugh at. It is silly stupid humor but it is still funny in the moment.

I'll never deny Family Guy has some good episodes and a lot of great jokes/moments

But it has a terrible consistency standard due to relying on pop culture references (not jokes, references) and is really bad at story structure.

Compared to like Simpsons, South Park, Futurama etc it just doesn't hold up
