Their ghosts and monsters are pretty interesting and creative I was hit with a break wall on this a couple years ago when DeepL wasn't a thing yet, but since its inception I've been able to piece together a lot of yokai stories and names that I couldn't properly translate manually previously (some I could, but some I could not). They're relevant in Asian Horror Movies if anyone is curious; its quite a popular yurei (onryo type). You could technically classify it as a yokai and you would be correct, but some still debate whether yurei is a entirely separate thing or yokai themselves.
