I briefly played the GameCube version, but most of my experience is from the Dreamcast version. Not sure there's a lot of differences other than the extra "Evil Blue Rogues" stuff. Besides I doubt Sega could deliver a quality game based on fan expectation anyway. The regular battle system was a a slightly worse version of Grandia too.
