Saw the opportunity to bring him back. Deadpool 3 implies the existence of Deadpool 1 and 2, meaning the Fox X-men movies will tied to the MCU by default. The Quicksilver return just adds to that. Im not saying that they are definitely merging the two franchises in a 1:1 manner, but I wouldnt be surprised if Fassbender, McAvoy, Nicolas Hoult, Tye Sheriden, Kodi Smit-McFee, and Alexandra Shipp return as well.
