The first time was last April, and was the first time this had happened since I was a kid. I didn't think much of it, maybe just drank too much water before bed or something. but now I done did it again. So now I'm searching the internet for what might be wrong with me.

best I can figure is maybe it's a medication side affect? I just got an increase in my zoloft dosage. And Ithink I started taking zoloft in February. Doesn't seem to be a listed side effect though

have you ever wet the bed as an adult? Was it because of some terrible rare disease found on WebMD?

This is what happened to me! I had a dream I had to go to the bathroom but when I did, I started sweating heavily and got hot all over my body really quickly. Then I woke up in the middle of peeing.

Do you usually use the bathroom before going to bed? Its always the last thing I do before I go to sleep

I think that's normal and happens to a lot of people occasionally. I'm usually able to wake up before I start peeing in real life lol

Haven't wet the bed as an adult but have had close calls. Its moreso I (almost) wet myself on the way to the bathroom at night. Had some drizzles before I actually got there sometimes. I often get up in the middle of the night to pee even when I go before I sleep. It's because I don't sleep good. On the rare occasion I sleep comfortably I don't have to go until I wake up in the morning. Also have had the same sensation of being overcome by heat and starting to sweat really bad. I dunno if that's to do with going from a sleep state to awake so sharply so it's like your body jump starts. That can't be healthy.

Never wet the bed past early childhood, and I'm unfamiliar with dreams about going to the bathroom. If going to the bathroom before going to sleep, not drinking much before bed, and maintaining good sleeping habits aren't helping you, then it might be a good idea to call a doctor, or at least consult the web (not GameFAQs) for similar issues and advice.

When I have dreams where I'm peeing I don't seem to end up actually peeing in real life fortunately. Though that did happen once when I was a kid.

I'm glad I never have dreams about peeing

because man I knew I'd go for it and then WHAM I wake up all covered in le pee pee

I think I recall doing it once in my mid 20's it was after I had done a 16 hour shift so I think I was too tired to get up and might have been dreaming about peeing? I don't remember I just remember being embarrassed and that was the only time I've done it since I was like... 5? I don't remember the last time I did as a child.

My first memory is me at two crying on a couch while my mother is brandishing a knife screaming "I'm gonna cut it off if you keep doing that!" So I think my psyche is too traumatized to ever allow myself to wet the bed again. Thanks Mom!

i have dreams like that all the time, but I've never wet or shat the bed, ok?

but i always wake up rock hard, that must keep me from having that problem, ok?

Yeah due to too much alcohol before bed. It's not a regular thing but it has been known to happen. It doesn't help that I have the bladder and pelvic floor muscles of a three year old girl. Lucky enough I don't share a bed with anyone and never will. I've never shit the bed though thankfully.

This so damn much.

I would/could never actually complete such a scenario, though.

Now choking and spitting dreams? There is a higher possibility I am waking up with mucus and phlegm in my mouth, windpipe, or beside my pillow.
