At this point you should play the trilogy within Hitman 3.

I'm curious to give these games a shot, looks and sounds awesome. How big is the difference if you're playing the levels in 2 or 3, I only have one?

I loved the old games but never played the new ones for some reason.

The new ones are great, if only because they're a lot more forgiving than the older games but you can still customize the difficulty if you want a challenge.

The plot is not why I play these games, but you will be able to play the campaigns of 1 and 2 in 3 if you care to buy the requisite DLC

From what I can tell it's slightly higher in OpenCritic and it depends on the platform for Metacritic. It's much of a muchness though. Chances are if you like one you'll like the other.

From what I remember Hitman 3 just has nicer visuals. Your progress in Hitman 2 will carry over to 3 as long as you upgrade on the same platform ecosystem. Although they're still figuring out PC thanks to the Epic Store deal.

Oh interesting, for some reason I thought 2 was right around 90.

Until they let you unlock stuff offline it doesnt deserve those scores and IO digging there heels in with this BS makes me very worried for the Bond game..

I hope this game does end up being a success for them. It seems to be coming out at a good time for once. Barely any competition and a whole bunch of PS5 and Xbox Series owners are probably looking at a new next gen title to play by now. Nothing coming out anytime soon either.

Shame about the Epic Store stuff but I suppose Epic has likely paid them whatever they'd make.

I just downloaded Hitman 2. I still prefer Blood Money to Hitman 2016, ill see if they improve the new formula

You dont need PS+ at least but you do have to be connected to the internet which is why Im worried about them pulling the same crap with the upcoming Bond game.

HITMAN 3 will require a day one patch for all disc users. The day one patch will be automatically applied to digital players. This patch will include access to the VR mode for PlayStation users and will include the remaining locations that are not included on the disc.

So i guess if you dont have internet the game isn't worth buyin? Jeez its the same as hitman 1 and 2, even that "complete edition" included download code for a couple missions instead of them all being on disc. I miss the days when you can buy a game on disc and its a complete game without needing the internet to download files to complete it

I'm pretty sure they'd be talking about the Hitman 1 and 2 locations. Even if you don't own them it's still included in the complete install. But I guess we will see.
