Day 2, and I'm just feeling extremely exhausted. Haven't done anything but lie in bed. Anytime I stand up I feel dizzy >_>

Welp, I guess I have to call out for work at this point

Unless you have some serious pre-existing conditions or are really old, you will probably be fine. The main problem with covid isn't the severity of the disease in individual sufferers for the most part, but more the contagiousness and how quickly it can generate a huge number of cases (which then overwhelm health systems). Isolate until / unless you are sure it is not covid (or sure you've recovered) so that you don't spread it, and aside from that, you'll be uncomfortable for a while but you'll almost certianly pull through.

This

99% sure this is what I had last week. Didn't get tested for covid but two family members who I was with during the holidays who got sick with all the same symptoms as me at the same time both tested negative for covid but positive for influenza.

I'm looking into that, but at the same time I really don't want to step outside in the cold >__>

And yeah, I'm taking my vitamins, been doing to since the pandemic started lol

Possibly, I'm not taking any chances though. Going to treat this shit as it was covid. Though I'm not sure what difference that would make lol

So far I haven't lost either senses so that's good news.

Yeah, I'm definitely isolating myself from everyone until I feel 100% I don't wish this shit on to anyone. I already requested a week off from work just in case.

Buy a pulse oximeter and measure your oxygen levels at least 3 times a day. If it drops below 90% you should go to the doctor ASAP to get some treatment. If you let it drop too low then it wil be harder to recover, people usually don't measure this and when they realize they can't breathe properly it is too late and they have to get hospitalized.

Same. Oddly enough just a day after getting back a negative Covid diagnosis. I feel alright now. Just my entire body aches and I have a minor discomfort in my throat, but no fever or anything like that.

Awesome. Keep checking it 3 times per day until you recover. As long as it doesnt drop you should be fine. Measure your temperature as well to make sure you don't end up with a fever.

Disclaimer: Im not a doctor and this is based on personal experiences.

How odd, much of taste is determined by smell.

Day 4: Honestly, I feel a lot better than I have in the previous 3 days, maybe the flu people were right? I hope so, that would be a sigh of relief lol. I still don't feel 100% though, but I feel well enough to do things and even work if I had to. But I already called out sick for the whole week >__>
