I walk around while brushing my teeth, most of the time. I can do this because I'm not dripping foam like a rabid badger.

anyway, one reason to use an electric toothbrush (besides it being better for your teeth) is that you can keep your mouth closed the entire time

Not to mention you can just close your mouth with a regular toothbrush just as well I was just saying that for the benefit of people like TC who are dribbling all over the place I too was once skeptical of electric toothbrushes. *puts on dentist hat* *realizes dentists don't wear hats*
For one thing most people do not brush long enough. An electric toothbrush will ensure you spend the required 30 seconds per quadrant, two minutes overall. I usually go front left, front right, back bottom, back top. Secondly, the small circular motion of the bristles is much better for cleaning/plague removal than vigorous vertical or horizontal brushing strategies, or the wide circles made with a typical toothbrush. Thirdly, it might actually be cost effective depending on your water-using habits and the quality of your brush heads. --- while you slept, the world changed ... Copied to Clipboard!
