I mean i don't know enough about the industry to say but my assumption would definitely be that movies are more practically screened than a restaurant for covid partially because of the nature of the financial backers and how they expect to profit from their investment.

But this kind of thing is definitely why I knew the us was fucked as soon as I understood that the whole 'lockdown' thing wasn't one and done, but rather like a dial as needed thing. You can't get Americans to think that much (idk enough about other countries to say)

i remember this year when they did that. whole bunch of people from portland started swarming the beach during a stay at home order. the city had to force them to go home the next day. ended up not being able to go on the beach for 2 month's because of that crowd.
