How rare is it when the person actually means every last one of the group they're generalizing? It should be an obvious understanding that generalizing means "enough to have an impact". I literally never feel targeted when people generalize white people, hispanics, guys, or whatever else I fall under. Maybe it's an insecurity thing. I guess you can't really control that as easy. But like come on, put some effort in. Maybe I just don't hang out with enough racists to feel the strength of generalization.
