Yeah, as I said in the other topic I believe Crossed is the most offensive graphic novel in existence. I personally havent seen anything rivaling it.

Stormfront huh? Yeah, thats easily one of the best scenes in the comic, especially with the whole WWII theme. Hopefully Stormfronts defeat in the show can match up to it.

Also, yeah, Ennis was greatly inspired by the Punisher for Butcher.

I just checked out the airplane scene in the comic. Oh yeah, sooo much worse, but maybe works a tiny bit better. I think if they drove home that The Seven are not trained to actually deal with situations, could've added another angle. In all honesty, doesn't make sense for the TV The Seven to ransack the plane without an actual plan.

Funny to see Mr. Marathon's death, in the TV he was just kinda mentioned to have lasted 1/4 of the time A-Train did

It also shows how comic homelander is quite a bit different than TV homelander. Comic homelander is a dumbass hedonist who acts on his instincts (moment things go south he immediately decides "fuck it" and leaves without trying to informing or waiting for anyone including his own teammates. He's then persuaded to go back and try after Marathon begs him.) and has the vought PR cover up his fuck ups. TV homelander is actually cunning and plans things out (he decides after pondering for a bit that it's too much effort to try it and then attempts to carefully walk away without drawing attention and waits for Maeve to leave with him) which makes him intentionally diabolical.

The TV show Homelander has got actual wits, but it doesn't come across that way because he's just so overwhelmingly powerful, which actually does sort of make the plane scene a bit odd because he goes in so unprepared, but one could interpret this as him not particularly caring how the operation actually goes. The comic Homelander seems just as much of a dick as TV Homelander but more impulsive as you said.

Also Hughie and Butcher don't seem as always at odds with each other in the comic? I feel like Hughie being a Scot and Billy being a Brit has a bit more to do with it

There's actually a spoiler reason for why comic Homelander is why he is. I found it pretty outlandish though. It's doubtful this spoiler reason holds up with TV Homelander.
And yeah, comic Butcher adores Hughie lol.

I kinda wish the TV series would dump that little plot. I thought Noir's presence was comical because he could've been that side character that's just trying to do his damn job while all the shit's hitting the fan. Occasionally he does clash with The Boys but that's probably natural considering what a threat they are in general to the Seven.
