Haven't seen it since. Have no desire. There's nothing in the movie that makes me want to sit through 2 hours of unplanned fuck shit. First time I saw it, I looked at my watch at 45 minutes in thinking I'd been there for 90 minutes. That's how slow paced and boring of a slog the movie is. It literally felt twice as long as it actually was. It explains nothing. It adds little. It makes up a lot of bullshit. Gives us this long fucking something, I dunno, about how Rey's parentage not being important only for that whole tangent to be shit on by TROS. The casino subplot is Finn's entire arc of him deciding to actually be a rebel instead of just "wants to keep his friends safe" you can't cut it out or Finn won't be doing anything at all the whole movie. Leia light speeding the ship would have been a better idea in hindsight, although she was clearly intended to have a bigger role in RoS that they had to reneg on. With how minor Leia's role was in RoS, you could have just replaced Holdo with her completely and it be perfectly fine. TFA ended with the Alliance destroying the Starkiller Base and taking away TFO's biggest weapon, but TLJ starts off with TFO suddenly ruling the galaxy?! What?! Also if you really break things down, it's actually an ANTI-"SJW" movie.
