Seems uninjured and overall healthy. Gonna release it soon in a place the cat doesn't go.

My cat, who passed away at the age of 19 last year, killed a lot of bunnies in his life. Cat was a savage.

One bunny survived. I thought it was dead and I went to pick it up when it suddenly sprang back to life.

After that, I'd leave them for a while to give them a chance to wake up if they were just stunned. They never did. One time, and owl came out of nowhere and ripped the bunny to shreds in my backyard. I wished I had picked it up sooner, that mess was way worse to deal with.

As another case of universal irony, I prob wouldn't actually kill the cute rabbit (Even though they used to love to eat my leather coats and I still owe them revenge for that). I would not be a very good wolf since I don't like killing things. If I was hungry enough though (but I would prob get by with fruits/veggies and fish if I had to hunt for my own food).

Personally, I dont think I could kill one, either. Though, the way they taught me has it where the rabbit actually strangles itself. Either way, I couldnt do it. But I do know how to...

I mean, useful skill in an apocalypse to be sure, but catching it is probably the hard part. Easiest to just shoot it (if guns/ammo are available). My plan is to try and hit Alaska if at all possible in an apocalypse type situation (But I'm afraid everyone else will eventually do that as well).

I figure humans will become like locusts apon the land, devouring everything (and eventually each other) as they fight over resources, fresh water, food etc. The only possibility of survival long term is to get away from the initial hoards and find a secluded spot where I could fish (and maybe eventually hunt). Anywhere near a large town/city though is gonna be a death zone.

For my 15 minute presentation in ASL (American sign language), I told a story of a wolf chasing a rabbit lol. The sign for wolf and wabbit, and the chasing etc, was adorable. Best presentation ever.

Yeah if your good with traps, you can catch a rabbit with string, or a pit etc. Then ya gotta kill it though. Maybe I could make the pit with spikes or something so when I find it, it's dead already and I don't have to kill it directly. I bet if I didn't have any meat (Besides fish) in awhile, I'd start having much more violent tendencies towards well everything actually, not just rabbits.

Not with the string. It kills itself. By strangling its own self...

My dogs have only killed one squirrel. But my dogs and cat has killed plenty of mice. And they keep bringing them to me... So, I throw them outside for the cat gods so they kill any mouse outside my house. Though, to this day, I still have no idea how the squirrel got inside... Maybe the chimney...

Also, I did save a bird from my dog once...

I bet you get upset when a fox kills a rabbit too. Cats are natural hunters. They often bring back their kills to their owners because they want to be praised for doing what they are naturally born to do.

It's natural when cats kill their natural prey.

So you understand then. Good. Now enjoy this gif of a sand kitten.

-Wild foxes killing wild rabbits is okay.
-Your domestic cat killing native birds is not okay. As a pet owner you're already providing it with its necessary food. It has no reason to go out killing native wildlife other than fun. Not only are you harming native wildlife, but you're also putting at your cat at risk for parasites and disease or getting into fight with other animals.
-A predator/parasite killing your domestic cat is not okay.

Being a predator doesn't mean you can kill whoever you want.
