Only other DCEU movie I've seen fully is Shazam which was pretty good.

It's gotta be Suicide Squad. That is seriously one of the most miserable theater-going experiences I've ever had.

Batman v. Superman is not a "good" movie per se and it definitely has its laughable moments, but parts of it work well and you can see it has a plan. SS has no plan. It's the worst edited film of all time.

Yeah I voted for BvS but immediately regretted it and should've voted Suicide Squad. That is truly one of the worst movies of all time outside of stuff like The Room.

SS has maybe two or three "so bad it's good moments" (mainly near the beginning and with Smith and Robbie's introductions) but the rest of it is just miserable

Really tough to choose between SS and BvS.

Chose BvS because it should have been so much better than it was. and I actually expected good things from it.....with SS I did not.

Suicide Squad's whole premise is a plot hole. What exactly are Harley Quinn and Deadshot supposed to do against a "Superman-level" threat? I know what the Squad was meant for in the comics and it wasn't this!

Suicide Squad might be the worse movie technically, but the hype for BvS vs. what we actually got almost single handedly toppled the franchise (until lately when it's been semi-turning itself around)

I saw this for the first time like a week ago. It was alright.

Biggest complaint is the kid was more mature than the superhero for 95% of it. I get he would act foolish with all those powers, but he legitimately acted 10 years old while acting like he was 19 as a kid, if that makes sense

On a side note, I find the whole idea that the sequel trilogy is misandrist to be laughable. Men in positions of power go around raping women and making decisions that lead to the deaths of millions, yet they genuinely think Poe having to be disciplined by Holdo and grumpy old Luke are serious problems from a POLITICAL perspective? Are men, like, not allowed to show weakness now? How thick-skinned can these people get? Seriously, Holdo's gender has no bearing on who she is - it could have easily been a male character in the same position. Honestly the whole Poe and Holdo dynamic in TLJ is basically Samus and Adam from Metroid: Other M with the genders reversed - and done a lot less badly to boot. At least accusing that game's plot of misogyny makes some sense given Samus is one of gaming's premier heroines - what's the excuse here?

If the sequel trilogy was feminist propaganda, Luke would have tried to molest Rey, but he doesn't even acknowledge her gender in any way. Doesn't even tell her she's pretty or anything. So yeah those people are borderline misogynists to me, and if they bring up Leia as an excuse I'll just invoke the Grandfather Clause. If these people don't want to be painted as bigots, acting like Trump supporters (e.g. blaming women and POC for ruining movies like they do for ruining America) should be something they avoid at all costs, but they don't even try and if anything invite further comparisons. They even react to opposing views just like Trump does. No wonder so many men seem to have no idea how to behave around women.

Long story short, a surprising number of criticisms of the sequel trilogy carry the implications that the people making them view white men as the default state of humanity. If that's not bigotry I don't know what is.

I voted Justice League because even though Man of Steel and BvS had some really garbage elements, there was still an obvious plan there being executed badly.

Justice League is like...acceptably bland, but to me that makes it way worse. They played it safe and it was still trash.

Haven seen SS and Birds (though my understanding is BoP is kind of a cult hit?)

Interesting that no one has mentioned the Snyder cut! At least it makes sense as something to sell people on a streaming service, because the people clamoring for it have always struck me as a VERY vocal minority at best.

Not saying it's a bad thing the Snyder cut is happening, but it strikes me as nothing short of an act of desperation.

BvS was disappointing whereas SS you knew it was gonna be bad.

Hyped movie that ended up being horrible vs. movie that was known from the get go it was gonna be a bad movie.
