It was just the first person I thought of when I saw what happened for some reason. Didnt see all the deleted messages though. The topic that got him suspended was him saying he hopes the mods get the coronavirus. Guy seemed a little bit unhinged.

Lurkers pop out of nowhere at the most opportune times to rag on somebody a true lurker wouldn't give a single fuck about or even be invested in.

I lurked here before i posted however many years ago. I knew about all the Potd drama and users but i didn't care. Certainly not enough to show up out of nowhere to rag on people.

Edit: at a bare minimun a good suicide shoukd at least come from an account people know of/has a rep/is old/ decent karma.

Nobidy cares about some users 400th alt being sacrificed.

Complete melties like Arctic (and I think 1337?) had are fun but idk if those can be considered true suicides

That's because they almost always are. By definition, they pretty much have to be, because at their heart they're almost always the end result of someone throwing a whiny tantrum and breaking their toys like a child. It's hard to really feel bad-ass when you're doing that.

The more memorable suicides back in the day that people were actually impressed by tended to post a ton of really extreme, illegal, or horrific shit in multiple topics across multiple boards to really make the mods work to catch it all. But that sort of thing kind of died off when they finally quarantined LUE, so it's been a real long time since any suicides met those sorts of standards.

Plus, as most of the rest of the users get older, we're all mostly just looking at the people flaming out and shaking our heads at someone who looks like they're just having a midlife crisis or nervous breakdown moment, where they're clearly flailing around and desperately trying to get some sense of control in their lives. So it doesn't inspire a sense of "Oh, that was cool" as much as it does a sense of pity or disdain.

I was gonna post how I would account suicide but decided I might get modded for inspiring it lol, but basically it was something like that + multiple accounts + posting in every single topic (making them all have links to porn etc). It would be a suicide bomb lolz. I figure eventually they would need to block the IP (but you could even get around that if the virus wasn't around right now. Could make it a suicide that shut down a few boards for a week even.

Bog really? I post all the time (not as much as pretty much all the regulars it seems, but alot), and I rarely see Jen create a topic anymore, she's one of the people who shows up as red for me (following) so it's pretty hard to miss. I might see a few posts from her a week at most, but I tend to postmore, link at least used to, mead dose, wwinter, heck tons of other posters do. She is one of the less blog worthy posters.

Yeah, didn't mean it as a diss at all, just meant she doesn't post that much anymore. Her posts are almost always far more relevant then my inane blatherings.

And yeah she does get alot of responses but she's been around forever and she's a girl on a board with mostly guys, and I mean she posts about cute dogs, cats, or larger issues like breaking up etc. My posts about my wife passing got a ton of responses. She doesn't generally post just frivioulous things that often, at least anymore.
