This is exactly what's happening. Is there any fascist or conservative action you won't cape for or misdirect away from? It doesn't seem like it if you're denying what's happening here. They were sent by the federal government to stop people from....placing grafitti on federal buildings. To stop that, unmarked federal police have thrown peaceful protesters into unmarked rented vans and detained them without charge. They are literally cracking skulls and sending out the Gestapo/Stasi over alleged graffiti and people wearing black clothes.

Of course you must remain "skeptical" because without that "skepticism", you'd have a harder time defending these actions and would have to go mask off. So instead, you ignore the confirmed reporting and deflect as if I'm believing in some type of fairy tale rather than stating what is in fact happening. there are literally tons of unmarked minivans in my department. Theres even a whole unit that goes after violent offenders in unmarked cars and plain clothes that arent police vehicles. Not all policing is done in black and whites.

i would say in this time OPSEC is important. The violent anti police Protesting is pretty rampant right now

you dont think they track people? During the protest I worked, our cameras and higher ups would point out the agitators and pick them up afterwards or even at their homes the next day for whatever crime they committed

it really doesnt matter what paint a vehicle has. Its a vehicle. The arresting powers are not in the vehicle. Theyre in the officer. If I saw someone murder somebody off duty at the gym. I can legally arrest that person and hold them in my car if I needed to, depending on the circumstance. I really dont understand why you guys are so fixated on the vehicle for. They stepped out of the vehicle in clearly identifiable police uniforms

so, what would you be saying if the person in the video was never seen again? you keep saying these are officers. But that's hindsight. We know they are officers only because the detained actually ended up where they were supposed to.

but from the detained persons pov, that's nowhere near clear. they have been given absolutely no indication that the person taking them is legitimate until it's over.

so let me get this straight: you think your job description is the following:

This person cannot be touched, approached or even talked back to.

i have a hard time believing that whoever envisioned the police force wanted to create a super class of people who are above the law, who decide what the law is and who can (and often do) decide to ruin somebodys life or who gets to take away and who gets to use a wheelchair and eat from a straw for the rest of their days, we are taking judge, jury, executioner and master all rolled up into one.

that belief that you and others clearly have is why so many people loathe you, and to top it all, you are also so fragile and hyper sensitive that we see videos of cops WEEPING over a fucking McMuffin or we see you blocking half of gamefaqs and marking the posts of the other half (I guess thats all you cant do since you cant beat the shit out of them over the www).

Knock off the 'for funsies' part and it's not really hyperbole at all. The police choose to harass whoever they want with impunity. It's a contributing factor that led to the protests. As for excessive force, most police that engage in it know that so long as they parrot the words "stop resisting" they're free to do just about anything short of beating someone with a tool in hand.

It's only now that cameras are so prevalent that people can demand justice be just. Other countries in the world want further accountability, such as the idea that the police have to submit a receipt to public record every time they stop someone, so the public can see how specific individuals*coughdarkskincough* are essentially harassed day after day.
