They defended the bombing cause Japanese were pretty ruthless in their attacks and doing whatever it takes to kill people. Nobody in that topic said about Truman being racist back then. It was a debate topic and I said if people were fine with the bombing and many were. IIRC they said it was the only way the Emperor or whatever gave up.

You STILL haven't shown a post or even stated one where anybody said anything resembling "Truman's racism was OK" and then later condemned Trump's racism. If a thread is discussing/debating his bombings, of course that's what people will discuss. If a thread is started to discuss the Marbury Vs Madison, does it need to be immediately stated that Thomas Jefferson had slaves and racist views?

For the sake of argument, let's say your approach (whenever somebody who was racist is mentioned, their racism must be condemned) is true. Since you haven't criticized Trump's in this thread, you support his racism.
