I'm touching up a couch sprite I did some time ago and I was thinking it doesn't look right because its too close to the ground

but no, couches just be like that. I never noticed how short couches are

A few months ago, I noticed a rushing water sound coming from the boiler in the kitchen. And my thought process was basically "Of course it makes water noises. It's a water boiler. But the fact that I've never noticed it until now makes me worry that it's not meant to sound like that, even though that's logically a totally normal noise for it to be making".

Spoilers, it's always made that noise, and I still have no idea why I suddenly became aware of it that one time.

I ended up tossing the clock I had in my bedroom because of this. I kept becoming aware of the ticking right before I wanted to sleep.
