Nah, shes flat out gay.

I just read a Q&A a few days ago when this was trending on Twitter. In fact, it was trending because of this, but the Mystery Inc. creator said they put hints in on why her relationship with Shaggy didnt feel right, and they put other hints in as well.

But because of the standards for cartoons, he couldnt be more blatant with it. I couldnt tell you what the hints were, Ive never seen the show, but I do remember the hype it got when it was running, and Im familiar with Scooby-Doo which is why this stuck out to me.

I didnt take up on any hints at all. She was all over Shaggy and wanted those nuts. He was the one who wouldn't put her important above scooby doo. I really dont think she has to be purely lesbian. It is a spectrum anyway. So she might be more into girls, but I would 5hink she is bi.

all of this "protecting the kids" nonsense is just going to have young people believing that there's something wrong, sinister, shameful, etc. about those who might be LGBTQ+, and for people who fall under that umbrella, they might feel it's something to be ashamed of and hide, and for those who don't fall under it, they'll find stuff like that more difficult to understand and might deal with them negatively

blocking LGBTQ+ representation doesn't help anyone
That's the point.

They use that reason to continue to make it seem bad and other, and justify their bigoted reasons. They've been told it's bad, and we can't have bad things around children and if we can't have bad things around children and LGBT isn't child friendly then LGBT is bad!

Essentially why we should push for (proper) representation. To break the belief that it's a political point and damaging to children.

WB only did that so they wouldn't go broke.

It's best to leave the originals alone and make your own, then you can put whatever in said show. It worked for Steven Universe and a couple of other shows.

This isn't really news, it's been out there for like 5 years at least. A bunch of Velma/Daphne scenes were cut.

Apparently the movie was going to be a more adult skewering of the Scooby Doo formula, but WB cut most of its subversive elements.

for some reason people think anything LGBT is inherently sexual even though its no more sexual than a straight relationship

these are the same types of people who will tell you that your newborn baby is gonna be a heartbreaker or will have to beat boys off with a stick

then will act like you just shot a puppy if 2 boys hold hands for 2 seconds on tv
