Women are more likely to be casual players by a wide margin. So when you say "this game needs less casuals", pushing for the devs to make that happen will inadvertently also shoo away a large portion the female playerbase. No online game developer should ever cater 99.9% to casuals, though. It's a recipe for chasing away the real moneymakers in the game: the "whales". Success is usually dependent on a balance between longtime vets and incoming casuals.
