Like if I have $40 or 50 in there by the time I get paid again, I can be happy with that. I've gotten better as I've become more long term oriented lately, I used to just run it all out before the next payday and didn't have savings at all, but I still spend a lot on things I don't need or use. One thing, is I was buying 2-5 games per month, but most weeks I game for less than 4 hours so I hardly ever start what I buy, and even more rarely finish it. I can swim, cook, garden, raise livestock, sew, drive, start a campfire, have survival skills taught by boy scouts and the military. I can do minor construction projects, basic home repair, basic plumbing knowledge, I've fixed electronics including an Xbox, rewired a lamp, installed a ceiling fan.
