It says that they're not taking down any games, just not accepting any new ones. I'm not sure why this is considered 'dead,' then?

i feel i should clarify none flash games will stay up for a while they are just not excepting new games and shutting down meany features

but well we all know the next step will be deleting games people are not playing as site traffic drops

then within a year or so fully shut down

With browsers dropping flash completely (it's still functional if you know how to sort specific settings) and seemingly the official standalone being taken away. Your only choice is to use a sketchy third party or get the projector from somewhere else.

It'll basically be too much of a bother for the average folk and those knowledgeable know the risks.

It's basically just gonna be on its last legs and dry up from lack of traffic.

no and almost no one uses flash on kongregate anymore

flash will be 100% dead at the end of the year

but again people upload none flash games there are lots of unity based games and just about any other dev tool

Back in maybe around 2010-2012 my friends and I shared a small ass 2 br and we were broke as fuck. One of the main things we did to pass the time in the summer between semesters was drink cheap liquor and compete for kongregate badges lol

I didnt use that site but I recognize the name. Wow, 14 years. It reminds me that a lot of my childhood romps are probably gone.

Been a few years since I've used the website (I'll still link my account for whatever random mobile games I play that support it), but many fond memories of playing games on there and hunting down badges for quests. Basically became the shockwave.com of my adult life.
