Yeah Krabs and Mermaid Man voicework is baaad. I just beat the mermalair. I think the critics consensus is fair. It's a fun game, but very flawed. High 6/low 7 so far

Clancy Brown does regular video game voice acting work FFS, dont tell me they couldnt get him in for a SPONGEBOB game lol Im also not sure how I feel about the art style. The Sponge Out of Water graphics feel kinda odd in such an older game --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. ... Copied to Clipboard!

^I think they just reused all the voice clips from the Gamecube version. I've heard there wasn't a lot of effort put into this remaster besides the graphics.

The lighting looks like, non-existent in the game
Im really not a fan of the excessive amount of bloom either, and the character animations can be really stiff, even in comparison to the original. I dunno. I wanna enjoy it because I love the original game but to me this just seems so clear it was made on a budget. When you compare this to the recent Crash, Spyro and MediEvil remakes especially I just feel like this was a miss. The added content looks really nice though. --- sigless user ...
