Ive only just started dipping my toes into the ps1 library recently so I havent played a lot of popular titles, but Klonoa is my favourite ps1 game so far. Easily a 9.5 or 10/10 game. I loved it soooooo much. The relatively easy pace of the game that gently ramps up (those bonus levels push the balloon mechanic to the max!) the adorable voices, the frickin ending, the way the adventure gradually unfolds, the characters, including the one-off characters (those 2 star guards were hilarious), the music (the Jokah theme!). Just everything about the game is aces.
