That is assuming that the detractors are motivated by petty semantics. They are actually motivated by the fear that they may lose their white privilege, if black people were to enjoy some of the same rights as them. (In this case, not being targeted by police and marked as expendable out of hand by law enforcement).

It wouldn't have made much of a difference because the movement became synonymous with anti-copism. They would routinely ignore other much larger threats to black lives than police officers ever were, which is the entire irony of the same people who criticize "all lives matter."

Yeah but why make it any easier for them? Control of the language goes a long way toward swaying public opinion. It's why the compulsory pregnancy movement has called themselves "pro-life". Random Joe Idiot who doesn't pay attention will look at things like that and decide which "side" they're on just based on language.

As for Ali Jr, isn't he the guy who literally disappeared on his woman once his dad died and ran out with his inheritance? Not a real good guy to go to for opinions. Literally living in poverty in Chicago and once the money came in, smoke lol.
