Actually considering most children and even younger teens are sensitive to bitter tastes, its not so far fetched, though calling a grilled cheese a baby food is still dumb. I wonder if you could get a compromise on the squeak vs string by putting a small amount of mozzarella on earlier while cooking the bread and letting it melt then adding the bulk of the mozzarella later in the process.
