I just think its fucked up that you have to worry about people fucking with your food just because you're wearing your work uniform.

I mean yeah, this could just be a shitty McDonalds that takes a quarter of an hour to put and english muffin together, but it's fucked up that she even has reason to be worried about it.

People tampering with her food is a very real concern, but that has nothing to do with it taking extra time lol. If they were going to fuck with her food, the idea is to be inconspicuous about it. She shouldn't be ordering fast food in uniform right now honestly, because there are dumb people who will do dumb things.

Also I kinda get where she's at because I've done the long shift/no food thing. Not as a cop, but I get being emotional about not being able to get your food after working a hard shift. She should not have posted this at all.

ITT: a cop gets treated like a regular human being, has her food delayed through regular-ass circumstances, has a breakdown about it.

This wasn't discrimination, this wasn't a targeted attack. This was one person whose food took a while longer to cook than she would have liked.

At an absolute baseline, as a human being, I hope for her mental health to be stable. I understand that things are stressful right now. I also understand that everyone has a breaking point, regardless of how small or unrelated it is to a wider issue they face in their lives. But I cannot stress enough how little I feel for a police officer crying for mercy in response to having their food come late at fucking McDonald's. This was not a slight. If you're facing backlash and severe stress at your job, put out feelers and get another job. Don't cry on the internet for pity points over a fucking McMuffin.

Some cops lies about having bleach in their drinks (And miraculously didnt have any serious medical issues) and therefore this is an epidemic and we need to feel sorry for them. There's certainly going to be some fuckery with cops, but it's doubtlessly not going to be at all common. Even if it did turn out the milkshakes were deliberate, that's one store out of probably a thousand. They certainly have nothing to fear in general. The worse thing would be if people aren't lambasted for supporting shit like that. That could actually increase the chance of it happening.

I was like 12 days in doing 14 hour days fire fighting in blistering heat hiking all over a mountain and packing water and digging guard and we missed the helicopter due to a hot spot we had to out out.... meaning we had a 4 hour hike bike to camp and missed dinner and were in the middle of nowhere so going somewhere else for food wasn't an option.

I was far from fuckin happy after an ~18 hour day but i didnt have a total meltdown and neither did anyone else in the crew.

Theres a difference between being hungry and tired and a little over emotional and posing your meltdown to social media over oretty much nothing.

Not to mention, having a meltdown in the moment over this is bad enough, but she also broke down in the video...which she made after the fact. She had time to think logically, Collect her thoughts, make a nearly 3 minute rant, and still broke down and decided she needed to post it. That is not someone we should consider fit to be law enforcement . A fast food worker forgets an order of fries and everyone wants them fired but for some reason we allow cops to be this fragile?

So I decided to come to the McDonalds at Love's on the Ford Avenue exit, and I waited in line to get my food. I had already done my mobile order so that, you know, people don't pay for my stuff, because I just always like to pay for it myself, but....

It doesn't matter how many hours I've been up, it doesn't matter what I've done for anyone, right now I'm too nervous to take a meal from McDonalds, because I can't see it being made.

Now I don't know what's going on with people nowadays, but please, just give us a break. Please just give us a break. I don't know how much more I can take. I've been in this for 15 years and I've never, EVER, had such anxiety about waiting for McDonalds drive-thru food. So just have a heart, and if you see an officer, just tell them, because I don't hear thank you enough anymore. All I want, is just my McMuffin.

Honestly if she's active duty right now, she needs to take a break or get desked. She seems way on edge right now given some of her duties/powers.
