Board 8 > What's worse? (Shaving)

I recently changed to a Gilette ProGluide (The Best a Man Can Get) and my shaving has been incredibly close, but my sensitive skin makes me kinda knock myself and while I like this really nice, smooth face, i dont like the knicks

What do you prefer board 8, do you like a sweet, imperfect shave or a not so good one but not as close but you dont knock yourself let me know in the comments section

as someone with middle eastern skin I've literally never had a close shave (outside of one occasion when I found a boss barber shop in arizona.)

I too have sensitive skin and I basically can't even use most electric razors because of how easily they cut my face and/or neck.

I don't use traditional razors because they always give razor burn. But the lowest setting of electric works just fine, and is comfortable.

For my balls though, I don't get too close, because I've nicked them with an electric razor before and it's not pleasant.

compared to an inferior, less close shave, that still gets the job done.

They might be afraid to say you look better out of fear of sexual harassment. I know it's not really ok to compliment a woman's hairstyle change anymore, so I'd assume it goes the other way too.

well its true but the woman i asked is much older than me, and is married with two kids in their twenties, so I feel like she's a good barometer for not noticing the fine deets

actually the worst part is when you can't grow a beard and it all looks terrible and scraggly if you don't shave

and if you shave too often it messes with your skin

I look better with stubble anyways. The only big problem with my facial hair is that it doesn't cover my cheeks completely. So I usually go with sideburns or some kind of goatee/sideburns combo.

I don't usually cut myself, or when I do it's minor and stops bleeding soon after. Depends on the razor though, cheap single-blade disposable razors slice me up pretty good.

I usually shave twice a week or so.

I can't even remember the last time I knicked myself while shaving and I always get a pretty close shave. I go against the grain in my mustache area but just with the grain everywhere else.

I can't imagine shaving from my lip to my nose, seems like I'd cut my lip for sure. And there's nothing worse than a lip cut; you can't really put a bandage on it, and every time you move your mouth it starts bleeding again. Then how do you go outside?

My neck hair doesn't all grow in the same direction, but I pretty much just shave downwards for my entire face and I get a close shave with no cuts. If I'm trying to even out a goatee or sideburns then I'll shave towards the edges.

I'm curious if everyone shaves after they shower or before? I used to do it before, but then my facial hair started getting more dense and it became a little painful.

Never had a close shave since I prefer having a beard. When I do shave it's with an electric razor that always leaves stubble behind.

Never want to see my face clean shaven again no thank you
