From what I understand the rumor is that Sony is developing the Silent Hill reboot. So not really comparable if that's the case. I'm fine with stuff like that.

No its not. All you really have to do here is wait. There will probably be timed Xbox exclusives that PS5 owners will have to wait for...and when its finally there, the price will probably drop too. Meanwhile, on Nintendo island, they typically only have timed forever exclusive IPs that cost 70 bucks forever. That's not really pro-consumer at all.
