All five matches were pretty evenly split, so no perfect days. Tom Bombadil is the only one to even go 4-1 today.

Well, I didn't want to make too many weight classes, but I also wasn't sure where to divide the classes.

Smash just has such a crazy range of weights.

Yeah, this is true. The heavyweight division is for every character with a weight value of 100 or more, but it goes up to like 135. Then there's a lot of characters from 90-99. And the lightweight division has a lot of variance since the lowest is in the 60s.

Since there were only four matches, it was easier to have a perfect day, and we had four perfects: ctes, Peridiam, Moltar (for the second day in a row), and Raetsel_Lapin.

hey, is there anything to do with points besides spend them on the stuff listed in the first post (or any reason to keep stockpiling them past what you want to use them on), or is it time to start thinking about that?

because as long as you're allowing some flexibility/arbitrary stuff in there, I've got a ruleset in mind that I think would be fun (if probably not trivial for you to run...)

If you guys have thoughts about what else points can be used for, feel free to throw them out. I'm open to any ideas you might have. That was just stuff I came up with off the topic of my head. I forget what all Moltar allowed points to be used on in the original Brawl Fighting League.

Also, I have a couple of conundrums for next week's matches.

First of all, in the heavyweight division, we're in a weird spot where we still have one quarterfinal match left to run, which would mean we'd be in a possible position of only running one match next week before the final. I thought about doing three matches, but you'd have three possible winners for the last match.

Ganondorf vs. Banjo-Kazooie
Wario vs. Simon Belmont
Ridley vs. Ganondorf/Banjo-Kazooie winner

Like this. I thought about just allowing people to pick "match winner" without having to commit to either fighter, but perhaps having that pick only be worth half. Or maybe a 50 point bonus if they decide to pick just Ganondorf or Banjo. Of course, Ridley could win and completely make it a moot point, but yeah!

Also, in the Free for All tournament, there are only five fighters left, so I'm just going to run a 5-way match for the final. I thought about doing a runner-up match of all the second place finishers from the previous week, but then we literally had two triple KO finishes, which leaves me with 9 total characters! Maybe I could split it up between two matches?

I'm fine with this as long as that pick isn't worth half - seems like a pointless thing to do imo.

5-way FFA Finals + two runner-up matches sounds good to me too.
