This is from a teacher's perspective.
Ignoring the fact that talking and getting to know the kids is my favorite part of school having to type out lessons and explain it in a way that it's impossible to misunderstand (both for students and their parents) is super annoying. Yep. Teacher here too. Online school is awful. My district allows for only pass/fail grades. And I teach an extra-curricular subject, so were told to keep assignments super minimal since core teachers are overloading students with assignments.
The way I see it, were a major catastrophe right now all over the world. Kids have bigger things to worry about. I wont fail a kid for not turning in assignments...especially since a lot of my students live in rougher families where they have to work to help provide for their families. Really just feel awful for all my seniors. What a crappy way to end your high school experience. I'm feeling the same way as a school psych.
