Depends on the kind of zombie, what weapons I have access to, how viable fleeing is, and how borked the rest of the world already is.

But assuming I had a shotgun and it was known that a bite would definitely turn them into a zombie without any recourse for a cure, then it probably would make more sense to shoot both the zombie and them before they could do the same to me. There would be less suffering and body/mind alteration on their end too.

Depends on what version of Zombies. Are we talking mindless zombies? Do the zombies still have feelings? What does the person want me to do?

I would wait until they were showing clear symptoms of turning and may or may not have already bitten several others already before I would commit to killing them.

Do we even know yet if this is worse than seasonal rabies, I mean this economist says...

I would keep the bit person under lock and key until we're sure they won't turn and if they've turned, kill them.

Seriously, if we killed everyone who was bit before they turn, we might accidentally kill people who might be immune.
