Voting for 'the lesser evil' is what allowed the corporate overlords to takeover. as long as we have a 2 party system, there is no long term future. Because compromise has been a word in politics that is synonymous with weakness. Two party system + 24 hour news cycle = ez pz us vs them, we did everything right but the other guys did nothing/blocked us. It's a get out of jail card for every occasion. Where as multiple parties requires compromise, everyone has to give and take a little. Then we just have to fix the fundemental problems lie citizens united and allowing riders on bills and if that doesn't work, if you don't vote, candidates have to spend 0 political capital to get your vote. and if that doesn't work, hide his weed on election week and tell him you'll give it back after he votes. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all <cite>I Like Toast posted [p:937323490] in My college...
