The only western from TGtBatU's era that I've really liked is Once Upon a Time in the West. Raising Arizona is decent. I've tried watching Alien a few times, but those time were all before I had cable TV and could never get a clear picture over antenna, and since a big chunk of the movie has pretty dark scenes, I couldn't make out what was happening most of the time, so stopped watching. Its about young kids sneaking into a rated R movie and learning swear words, and then spreading it onto their peers.
