I think about the Airbnb landlords or quasi-entreprenuers who know find themselves unable to pay their bills...some of these people were over-leveraged on multiple properties and were counting on the revenue to keep coming.

My landlady hasn't bothered to contact me once about the virus or even ask about my situation. I paid rent on time because I still have a job and she's selling the place, so I'm trying to give her no reason to sell to someone who will kick me out when they take over.

Yeah, it's going to be pretty sucky for a lot of landlords and tenants. You're going to have the abusive trashy renters who take advantage of this situation to not pay at all for more months than normal, and then ditch. Then you'll have the trashy landlords using this as an excuse not to fix obvious issues due to a lack of money and try to dump tenants ASAP if they're actively paying but slightly behind as soon as it's over.
