By car it is a 2 Mile drive. But there is a walking path that cuts a big corner so probably only 1.5-1.75 miles walking. I can't say exactly though because Google maps says if I walk I need to take a 6 mile detour up and then down a skihill.

Yeah in the morning when my car is frozen before work I just skip the car. Taking more than 8 minutes means I coulda have walked and been ok. I take about 5-6 steps every 3 seconds. almost 2 per second, around 120 steps in a minute. Also you save time from any lights and parking you normally would do.

That thing about Google Maps giving weird walking directions has happened to me too. One time when I searched up walking directions, it routed me to a pedestrian/cyclist tunnel path that climbs above street level through a hill. For some reason, Google Maps wanted me to get on the path at a point where it was above my head instead of leading me to the entrance.

Then there's been other times when it has given me walking directions that go into paths that are either private property (so I would be surrounded with locked fences) or are known to be areas where shady things happen.

Yup Google did me dirty. I'm at the top of the skihill and there is no walking path where it says there is. I don't think I'm allowed to walk down the skihill. That seems like it could be dangerous. So my choices are keep following the walking paths and see if I come out on the right side of the mountain or go back the way I came and do my original walk.

I use Google Maps a lot for work. The funniest thing about it is that it will tell you the elevation from your starting point to your end point, but the margin of error is like +/- 5 feet lol.

To see how far it was, but I took Google maps as a challenge. I think it might be trying to kill me though. It had me follow the red markers. It has almost walked me off a sheer cliff 3 times now. I sent to be on the other side now though. I'm going down instead of up now.

If I do some simple math, my 70 lb dog goes through about 40 lbs of regular food a month (he also gets treats and dental sticks). Divide that by 10 and that would make his cat like 7lbs. Little on the small side (average cat is around 8-10 lbs), but certainly not incredibly skinny.

I think he is 8 pounds. He just doesn't eat much. I'm not one of those people who feed on a schedule. He has food 24/7. He just doesn't eat much. He didn't become interested in meat until he was about 7 or so. You could put some chicken, bolonga, ham, sausage, or any other kind of meat down for him and he would turn nose at it or eat around it. At about 7 he started trying food scraps and now he might have a sliver of meat, but you give him 2 slivers and he will ignore the second one.

That's small for a male cat. I do the same for my female cat that is 8 pounds or so. Never had a schedule for both of my cats. The male cat ate a lot before he disappeared though.

I feel that, my dad and step mom always have food out for their huskies, but one doesn't eat lots, just when he's hungry, he's like 70 lbs and kinda skinny, and the other eats more and he's a 100lbs and kinda chubby lulz, just different appetites I guess.

Not google maps but this was my favorite recent directions I got from Apple Maps. Honestly I usually use google instead but as far as I can tell Apple doesnt let google push directions directly to the Apple Watch so I tend to use Apple Maps on the off occasion that I need walking directions.
