From there that person probably has a long commute because housing is cheaper. From there you can also assume this means they have significantly less time in their day. Which means they don't really have time to upskill and get a job elsewhere. People like this can also fall back on stuff like fast food because they simply barely have any time in the day. It's really not hard to put on some empathy shoes and think about what life is like being poor.
