From a political standpoint I actually thought it was a really interesting decade. It was basically the 2000s but on steroids, things are even MORE polarized now and people are actually doing something about it. I'm worried the 2020s will end in an actual civil war.

From a personal standpoint, I finished high school in 2012, I got my undergrad degree in political science eventually in 2017, and I am set to finish my Masters come 2020. I had a lot of good times, crazy parties, experiments, actually getting laid and stuff, it was pretty cool. I did have some issues with bi polar disorder but I got on pills for that in mid 2015. The bad was pretty bad but the great was AMAZING. All in all, it was one hell of a decade, I think personally the 2020s will be a bit more mild for me in comparison.

2014 was the year my life was ruined, so a newer decade has to be better, right?

Graduated college and started working professionally. Broke out of my shell and got shit done.

Aside from me, the 2010's was crazy. Tech boom, end of the recession, Obama's and Trump's presidency, lots of social issues, etc.

Well extremely late in this decade I finally got a job I think I could possibly make a career out of. So it ended on a good note.

Shit decade overall.

Turned 14 in 2010 and 23 in 2019. The best word I can dedcribe it with is probably adolescence; it was most of my teen years and early 20s. Still don't feel quite like a man, but I have grown up a lot.

Good fucking riddance. Unfortunately, the shitty things from last decade are likely to smear across into this decade.

I do have some things to feel optimistic about though, i'm gonna try to focus on them.

The 2010's were marred by relationship problems
I made a ton of mistakes. Spent too much energy on relationships. I could have graduated from university 5 years earlier had I not been fucking around so much.

I finally got a great job after graduating and then got engaged to my now ex fiance. Then I found out she had been cheating on my with her much older boss for months a month ago.

Needless, I'm fucking done with the 2010s and am refocusing my life on myself rather than seeking relationships.

a pivotal decade in my short life, the graduation of high school, entering the work force, voting for the first time in 2012, gaining a license, the big 21 arriving dropping 30 plus pounds over the last year and a half.
I'm hoping and striving to continue to experience more growth and development.

Miserable completely and utterly miserable this decade just took things away from me when I already have very little to begin with it took everything but what I wanted it to take.
