Their games remind me of being a kid, getting totally absorbed in a world. So good and not an ounce of cynicism (for lack of a better word) in their games. There's something really pure about it. DS1, DS3, BB, and Sekiro are all in a shortlist of my favorite games since 2010. Big ups to Team Cherry as well for Hollow Knight, for similar reasons, but that's just one game. Yeah, this has been a hard part of growing up for me seeing companies like Blizzard become more corporate... still overall good and polished but missing some soul along the way. FromSofts games (along with Hollow Knight) kind of filled the Diablo-sized hole in my heart, despite being very different in gameplay. There is a crazy amount of polish and care put into this translation though. Even with custom box art and title screens in different styles for NA and EU.
