The fact that I have to utter this statement is an incredibly painful thought, but: Just because the President of the United States says it, does not necessarily make it okay to post. That...is a ridiculous thing that shouldn't be, but unfortunately, is given what is frequently posted on it.

Not that this even remotely excuses what Admiral did, for the record. "I think Trump is a good president for the following economic reasons" is a far cry from him literally saying racial profiling is a good idea. His ban was just laughably overdue.

You have a relatively small sample size of what gets moderated on this site. The amount of people who mark a message has no bearing on whether it gets deleted. I've no-actioned obvious petty marks from multiple people countless times. More than I care to honestly. It'll get deleted if it's a violation. If it's an incorrect moderation, then it should be disputed.

You'd have no idea what history a person has on their account unless they told you, and that's assuming that they're telling the truth. And even then, a clean history does not necessarily exempt someone from a harsher account restriction.

Allen has however said that Alexa ranking really doesn't give the full story of site traffic anyway.

That's not how it works. You can't look at the main domain of one of the biggest video game sites on the internet to extrapolate anything about a subdomain. If anything, Google Trends is better and gamefaqs has been going downhill for about a decade.

The best indicator we have is the board usage because none of the other information is reliable and acting like it is false. Board usage has gone from 3k to 2k at peak times in the past 2-3 years. That's pitiful if the site is really getting the hits Allen and you keep putting out. Sustainable hits would produce a little more than niche subreddits.
