This was atheist Penn Jillette's idea after Columbine. He noted that most violent crime is commited by men and nearly all gun crime is commited by men. He also thought that women with pink guns were sexy.

So although he was against taxes funding it because he is a libertarian, he posed the idea of all women being given a 'pinky' once they turn 18. Musing that even if the chick didn't want it and didn't use it, nobody would try anything if there was a solid chance that literally every female adult in the vacinity would be armed.

So let's say some eccentric Christian millionaires team up and agree to do it. They fund it and now every woman above the age of 18 gets given a free pink handgun and going forward every girl will recieve one on her 18th birthday.

On the internet every once in a while you can get the pink or yellow guns for cheaper than the black versions.

If the pink or whatever is on the polymer frame you can paint it easily. But it will eventually fade if you use it enough.
