Obamas background pretty much groomed him to be president; the only thing in his way was the mixed race thing. But I certainly wouldnt say it shows that anyone from any background could be president.

Obama proved it doesn't matter what you say to the public, as long as you speak well, people will buy it, and regardless of the outcome, they will thank you for it, as long as the mainstream tells you to.

Trump proved regardless of what narrative is being sold to the mainstream, there is still a hungry voter base out there for the American Dream, and not even a combination of Hollywood and social media can kill it.
